The Blue Peacock Cichlid is a true star of Lake Malawi. It boasts an intense electric blue coloration that catches every eye in an aquarium. Calm, majestic, and less aggressive compared to Mbunas, this cichlid is great for enthusiasts of vibrant colors and fascinating behaviors.

Tips:
Keep in a harem (1 male to 2-3 females) in a spacious Malawi-type aquarium. It prefers a sandy substrate, some hiding places, and ample swimming space. Avoid keeping it with overly dominant species to prevent it from hiding. Excellent filtration and oxygenation are recommended.
