Green Fire Tetras (Aphyocharax rathbuni) are popular freshwater fish in the world of aquaristics. Native to South America, these tetras are distinguished by their vibrant coloration, ranging from green to orange-red on their bodies.

They are appreciated for their schooling and peaceful behavior, making them excellent companions for other compatible fish species. These tetras prefer moderate water temperatures, between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius, and adapt well to slightly acidic to neutral freshwater environments.

Green Fire Tetras are relatively easy to care for and are a beautiful, colorful addition to any community aquarium. It is important to provide an enriching environment with hiding places and a balanced diet to ensure their well-being.
