They appreciate densely planted areas with plenty of hiding spots, such as caves, rocks, and driftwood roots. Be sure to provide good filtration and regular cleaning to maintain good water quality.

### Water Parameters:
Ancistrus prefer soft water conditions with a slightly acidic to neutral pH, generally between 6.5 and 7.5.
