The Annie’s Goby (Stiphodon annieae) is a small freshwater goby native to Southeast Asia, particularly the clear, well-oxygenated rivers of Indonesia. This peaceful fish captivates with its subtle colors, featuring bluish or golden hues depending on the light, and its calm yet active behavior on the aquarium bottom.
It prefers heavily planted aquariums with smooth rocks, moderate current, and excellent water quality. Like many gobies of the genus Stiphodon, it feeds primarily on algae and biofilm and should be kept in a stable environment.
