The Odessa Barb is a spectacular small Asian fish, highly valued for its striking red stripe that runs through the body of males, contrasting with its silvery scales and dark fins. Active, hardy, and colorful, it enlivens the aquarium while remaining compatible with many peaceful species.

Tips:
Keep in groups of at least 6 individuals so that males fully display their colors and tensions are distributed. Prefer a well-planted aquarium with open areas for swimming. It cohabits well with other peaceful fish of similar size. Its diet should be varied (flakes, micro-pellets, shrimp, daphnia) for optimal health and intense coloration.
