Koi Carp (Cyprinus carpio)
The Koi Carp is a spectacular pond fish, appreciated for its vibrant colors and varied patterns ranging from white to red, orange, yellow, black, and sometimes even blue. Calm and sociable, it moves gracefully in large ponds and cohabits well with other Koi or similarly sized fish.

Adult size: 40 to 90 cm (sometimes more depending on space and genetics)
Behavior: Calm, curious, sociable
Swimming zone: Mid to bottom (but explores the entire pond)

Tips:
Keep in groups in an outdoor pond of at least 1,000 L per adult individual, well-filtered and well-oxygenated. It tolerates seasonal variations but requires clean and stable water. Omnivorous, it appreciates a balanced diet: floating pellets, vegetables, insects, worms, and fruits. It can also get used to human presence and easily becomes interactive.
