The Salvini Cichlid is a freshwater fish native to Central America, known for its vibrant colors: a bright yellow body adorned with black bands and blue or red highlights depending on the individual. It is a cichlid with a strong personality, sometimes territorial, especially during breeding season.

It is recommended to keep it in an aquarium of at least 250 liters, with hiding places (rocks, roots) and open areas for swimming. It prefers water between 24 and 28°C, with a neutral to slightly alkaline pH.
