Skunk Corydoras

The Skunk Corydoras is a small, freshwater catfish native to South America, recognizable by the black stripe that runs across its back, reminiscent of a skunk's markings, hence its common name. Peaceful, active, and curious, it lives in groups and enjoys sifting through the tank substrate in search of food.

It prefers soft, slightly acidic water (pH 6.5–7.2) with a temperature between 23 and 27 °C. Ideal for community aquariums, it gets along well with other calm fish and appreciates a fine substrate, such as sand, to avoid damaging its barbels.
