The Orange Laser Corydoras is a splendid fish native to Peru, highly valued for the bright orange line that runs along its back, giving it an energetic and vibrant appearance. Its silvery body and coppery reflections add a luminous touch to any aquarium.

Calm, peaceful, and gregarious, it thrives in groups of five or more individuals. It enjoys sifting through the substrate for food, which is why a fine sand substrate is ideal for protecting its delicate barbels.

It prefers soft, clean water, with a temperature between 23 and 27 °C and a pH of 6.5 to 7.2.
