Opaline Gourami (Delivery only)

The Opaline Gourami (Trichopodus trichopterus var. opaline) is a freshwater fish native to Southeast Asia. It is popular in aquariums for its beautiful marbled opaline blue coloration and relatively peaceful temperament. Measuring up to 15 cm when adult, it thrives best in an aquarium of at least 200 liters, well-planted with numerous hiding places.

This labyrinth fish possesses a respiratory organ allowing it to breathe oxygen from the surface. It generally cohabits well with calm species, but males can sometimes be territorial. Its diet is omnivorous, accepting dry, live, or frozen foods.

Easy to care for, the Opaline Gourami is an excellent choice for aquarists looking for an elegant and robust fish.
