Tiger Endler Guppy (male)

The Endler's Livebearer (Poecilia wingei) is a small tropical fish native to Venezuela, valued for its vibrant colors and unique tiger-like patterns. Males typically measure 2 to 3 cm, while females are slightly larger, reaching 3 to 4 cm.

Ideal parameters:

• Temperature: 22 to 28 °C (optimal around 25 °C)

• pH: 6.5 to 7.5

• Hardness: 8 to 15 °dGH

• Minimum volume: 40 L for a small group

Active and social, the Endler's Livebearer thrives in groups. It appreciates clean, lightly filtered water, with plenty of plants and some hiding spots.

Diet: An opportunistic omnivore, it accepts flakes, micro-pellets, daphnia, and other live or frozen foods, which enhances its vibrant colors.

Reproduction: Livebearing and very prolific, it gives birth to numerous fry that are easily raised in a well-planted tank.

Its small size, intense colors, and hardiness make it a perfect fish for both beginners and enthusiasts.
