The glowlight tetra, or Hemigrammus Erythrozonus
, is a colorful variation of the neon tetra. Native to South America, this small aquarium fish is prized for its vibrant coloration. To keep them healthy, ensure a water temperature between 22 and 26°C, a hardness of 2 to 10 dGH, and a pH of 6.0 to 7.5.
Glowlight tetras thrive in a well-planted aquarium with adequate filtration. They are known to be schooling fish, so it is recommended to keep them in groups of six or more. Offer them a balanced diet consisting of flakes, pellets, and small live or frozen foods.
