Seachem Flourish Trace

Seachem Flourish Trace is a trace element supplement specially formulated for planted aquariums where trace element deficiencies need to be avoided. These elements play very specific roles in the metabolism of aquatic plants, often in minute but essential quantities.

A few interesting points to remember:

• Why use it? Even if your aquarium already receives complete fertilizers (like classic Seachem Flourish), trace elements are the ones that are depleted the fastest, especially due to oxidation and chemical precipitation. Regular supplementation therefore prevents an invisible but potentially growth-inhibiting imbalance.

• What is its use? In well-planted or fast-growing tanks, it is not uncommon to see subtle signs of deficiency (yellowing, leaf deformation) even if macronutrients (NPK) are well supplied. Flourish Trace targets these micro-needs.

• Safety: The product is formulated to avoid any risk of dangerous overdose (within recommended proportions), including for delicate invertebrates like shrimp—which is not the case for all supplements containing, for example, copper.

• Tip: Many aquascapers alternate fertilization days (for example, Flourish one day, Trace the next) to avoid sudden spikes while maintaining balanced nutrition.
