Black Morpho Tetra – A small, dark fish with captivating reflections
The Black Morpho Tetra is a superb small characin recognized for its dark coloration and metallic reflections reminiscent of the Morpho butterfly's wings. Its slender body, tinged with deep blue and velvety black, creates an elegant contrast in any planted aquarium.
Peaceful and very active in a school, it feels best in groups of 8 individuals or more. This tetra appreciates soft to slightly acidic water, subdued lighting, and a natural decor composed of plants, branches, and shaded areas. Its calm behavior makes it an excellent companion for other small, peaceful fish.
