- Behavior
Peruvian Blue Tetras are active and social fish that do best in groups. It is advisable to keep them in schools of six or more individuals to promote their well-being and reduce stress.
- Environment
These fish appreciate a well-planted aquarium with open spaces for free swimming. Plants like Java moss and floating plants like Salvinia provide hiding places and a natural environment. Ensure the aquarium has a good filtration system and a slight current to mimic their natural habitat.
The Peruvian Blue Tetra is a colorful and energetic addition to any well-maintained community aquarium.
