Pristella Tetra (Pristella maxillaris)
The Pristella Tetra, also called the X-ray Tetra, is a small transparent fish adorned with yellow, black, and red colored fins. Very hardy and adaptable, it is ideal for beginners as well as experienced aquarists. It thrives in groups and adds beautiful visual animation to a community aquarium.
Tips:
Keep in groups of 6 or more individuals to fully observe their social behavior. It tolerates a wide range of parameters, making it an excellent choice for beginner community aquariums. It appreciates planted tanks with open areas for free swimming.
